Each of us need to respond to what God is offering us
John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.”
How does one become a child of God?
Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.”
what is Jesus trying to show here when He offers to come in and eat with us?
How to Become a Christian
Romans 10:9,10
If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raisede Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”
Acts 16:30,31
And after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.”
Mark 1:15
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel
Heaven and Eternal Life
John 3:36
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”
