The Christian life is one of study. In the book that the Apostle Paul wrote to his protegé Timothy, he challenged him to “study to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” We are to hide God’s Word in our hearts, to discern right from wrong based on His standards, to learn what it means to grow spiritually and to discipline ourselves for the purpose of godliness.
