Chickweed Recipes

April 24, 2023

Chickweed is one of my favorite wild edible Spring plants! It is full of nutrients and minerals, it’s fresh, nutty flavor is delicious raw, in salads or processed into pesto. Here are three recipe videos to learn more about Chickweed as you whip up a Chickweed grilled cheese sandwich, juice it or process it into a Thai pesto. I also share a few magical stories of the healing properties of this marvelous plant growing wild around us. Best found in the cool weather of early Spring and then again in the Autumn. Chickweed doesn’t like hot weather! Do you have Chickweed growing around you? If not get some seeds and start a Chickweed patch!
