Build Your Immune System the Wild Way

Dear Wild Friends,

The best vaccination against the Flu is a healthy host.  Join me to learn how wild and healthy foods can be your best defense this flu season.  Real food is what the body is meant to run on and wild food properly gathered and prepared is the best of all!

We’ll begin our time together outside digging  tasty roots and gleaning from Summer’s leftovers to add to the wild bone broth soup we’ll make together and for a wild Chai decoction we’ll drink with desert.

Our Lunch Menu

Peppermint Tea, Bee Balm Tea, Sumac Lemonade

Crabgrass Muffins with Autumn Olive Berry Jam or Elderberry Jelly

Cream of Nettle Soup w/ Milkweed Shoots & Cattail Heads

Lambs Quarter Spread & Yellowdock Crackers

Wild Energy Balls

Burdock Root Chai

All ingredients are gluten free.

Using Spring and Summer’s wild harvest as food for the Winter is easy to do but it takes thoughtful preparation and dedication just as menu planning and grocery shopping does. Reclaim nourishing traditions that build health from the inside out.  I’ll also teach you about my favorite colds and flu home remedies made from wild weeds!

Join me on Saturday, October 29th at 9:30 a.m. to learn, forage, cook and eat lunch together.

Space is limited to 12 cooks.

If you want to be added to my eVite list please indicate that in the Contact section of Wild Blessings or you can call me at 828 297 7491.

Check my website for upcoming classes.

Wild blessings abound!

Welcome to my website. My name is Holly Drake and I love to study, teach, and talk about wild foods.
