Dandelion Fritters

I have made these so many different ways.  Some folks like to pull out the yellow flowers and use just those in the batter but I like using the entire blossom with the bitter bracts and sepals included.  Adds more of a chew factor.

Recipe One

1/3 c pastry flour

1.3 c corn meal

1 t baking powdder

cinnamon to taste

a dash of salt

Mix dry ingredients

1 T butter

1/3 c milk

1 egg

coconut oil

melt butter and honey on low let cool add egg and milk, mix well add dry ingredients to make the batter.  Fry in coconut oil, flip over to get both sides.

for a more savory flavor – thyme / rosemary
