Eating Wild ALL the Time

May 6, 2011

In a wrap

It occurred to me how normal it has become for me to eat ‘wild’ at every meal. More and more my meals not only include wild edibles but feature them.

Today’s lunch I was craving Cattail shoots, so I stir fried Cattail shoots, onions, garlic, carrots and tomatoes seasoned with Kelp.

Making more Nettle soup for dinner because I am craving it…again.

Tomorrow I’m having my neighbors over for a POA meeting and serving them Japanese Knotweed and Apple Crisp for dessert. Just to shock them I’ll make a wild salad of Daisy leaves, Violet leaves, Dandelion and top with Violet flowers and Dandelion blossoms.

How my life has changed… for the better!

Wild blessings abound!
